BBC, LWT & GRANADA approved Special Effects Supervisor.
Mark Holt finished a four year Royal Air Force engineering apprenticeship at Special Signals Unit in 1988. From then on he has been working in the Film and Television Special Effects industry. Specialising in physical and pyrotechnic special effects, Mark has supervised some of the UK’s more celebrated television dramas including Cranford, Longitude, Shackleton and To the Ends of the Earth, along with feature films such as Atonement, In Bruges, Nanny McPhee and St Trinian's.
Mark has worked in Thailand, Morocco, Spain, France, Bulgaria, Greenland, Iceland and South Africa, has been on the BBC Special Effect approved contractors list for more than 14 years and is a full Member of the Institute of Explosives Engineers.
